A new mircoPREP laser cutter installed
We celebrate the successful installation of a laster cutter (microPREP) for fast, clean, and efficient preparation of samples for microstructure characterization and failure analysis. It is suitable for preparation of metal, semiconductor, ceramic and compound materials from bulk, and greatly reduce the working hours and cost (for FIB milling) in the normal preparation work flow.
The system is funded by DFG as part of the supporting environment of the new high resolution X-ray microscope, which will be delivered and installed in the next two month.
