Congratulations! Several awards for outstanding BSc and PhD theses at IMN

At the summer festival of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, several prices of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering were awarded to outstanding BSc and PhD theses conducted at the IMN:

 

1. BSc Award:
BSc Julian Kauth (Nanotechnology BSc)
Title of thesis: “In situ heating and combined electrical measurements: Principle, setup and correlative workflow”

2. PhD Award:
Dr.-Ing. Lilian Vogl
Title of thesis: “Functional nanowires studied with correlative in situ light and electron microscopy”
 

3. PhD Award:
Dr.-Ing. Dorota Kubacka
Title of thesis: “Diffusion processes in compositionally complex Ni- and Co-base single crystal superalloys”
